The Community Health Nurse provides health assessments, education and health promotion for the community including child, youth and family health. This may include:
Group education on a range of health related issues such as:
- Asthma
- Women’s/men’s health issues
- Osteoporosis
- Diabetes
Individual consultations for general health checks such as:
- Asthma Education
- Breast care
- Cancer Support
- Health Coaching
- Pregnancy testing and advice
- QUIT program
- Reproductive Health
- Self management of chronic disease
