Urgent Care

The Yarrawonga Health Urgent Care Centre offers a 24-hour urgent care which is serviced by general practitioners from local medical clinics who are on-call 24 hours a day.

 From the hours of 11.00pm - 7.00am, Yarrawonga Health utilizes a telehealth service (video-link to Northeast Health Wangaratta) whereby Yarrawonga Health nurses receive advice from Northeast Health Wangaratta Emergency Department.  Subsequently, if you require further treatment, a transfer and possible admisstion will be arranged to Northeast Health via the telehealth link.

 Non-urgent cases are referred to either of the clinics. As this is not a funded Urgent Care Centre, there will be a charge by the Medical Officer from the local GP clinic at the time of the visit.

Clients utilizing the Urgent Care Centre are assessed by nursing staff are triaged according to the severity of their presenting problem with the most urgent cases always attended to first.
