Volunteering

“It gives you a great sense of purpose. It gives you a good feeling about yourself. And it’s just a great thing to do.”

Yarrawonga Health is proud to recognise and celebrate the incredible contributions of our dedicated volunteers who tirelessly give their time and energy to enhance the well-being of our community.

Our volunteers give their time freely to support our organisation and their local community. People of all ages and from all walks of life become volunteers. Volunteering can provide a sense of purpose and meaning, keeping you connected and engaged with your local community.

Our volunteers are diverse in their roles and backgrounds, unified by their commitment to making a difference.

At Yarrawonga Health we work with you to ensure your interests and skills are accommodated, which may include;

  • gardening
  • arts and craft
  • sports
  • card playing
  • walking
  • pets
  • music
  • theatre
  • conversation
  • listening
  • reading
  • a second language

We are always on the lookout for different interests that people would like to incorporate into our program. Contact us to chat about how you can make a great contribution to Yarrawonga Health and your community.
