We will update the community on what Yarrawonga Health is doing, but it’s important to remember this situation is constantly evolving with new information being released on a daily or even hourly basis.

Visiting Hours

COVID-19 Visitor Guidelines

Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation visiting hours have temporarily been changed. 

All visitors will be screened by a staff member at our health services entrances, external to the building, and incur a temperature check, upon entry into the facility and have their contact details recorded. Our screeners will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as a precautionary protective measure.  We will kindly ask you to leave, if your presence may place patients, residents, or staff at risk.

  • All Visitors will be asked if they have worked or volunteered at a hotel quarantine site in the last 14 days.
  • All Visitors will be required to declare if they have visited a current Australian Exposure site.
  • All visitors must schedule visits via phone by contacting 5743 8565 between 9am - 4pm daily.

ACUTE:

  • All Visitors are booked through YH Centralised Visitor booking service by calling 5743 8565. 
  • Visiting hours are strictly between 2pm – 7pm.
  • No limit on the number of visitors.
  • No limit on the frequency of visits.

AGED CARE:

  • All Visitors are booked through YH Centralised Visitor booking service by calling 5743 8565. 
  • Karana & Allawah visiting hours are between 9:30am - 11:30am and 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
  • Warrina visiting hours are between 9:30am - 11:30am and 1:30pm - 3:30pm
  • No limit on the number of visitors.

In addition to the restrictions listed above; Additional visitor arrangements can be made by appointment, by contacting Nurse Unit Managers.

Exposure Sites

Yarrawonga Health has enhanced screening process, all visitors must declare if they have recently visited any Australian exposure sites. Anyone who has will be required to have a COVID test and will not be permitted entry into the health service. Please refer to below links for current exposure sites.
