The Community Heart Appeal was established through the shared vision of Yarrawonga Health and Helping Hands — bringing our community together to strengthen local healthcare and ensure vital services remain close to home.
What began as a fundraising initiative to help equip our new operating theatre and enhance our redevelopment has now become a powerful example of what community generosity can achieve. Thanks to the incredible support of individuals, businesses, schools and local groups, the Community Heart Appeal has successfully helped deliver essential equipment and furnishings that will support improved patient experiences, and expanded healthcare capacity for our region.
This achievement represents more than a completed project - it reflects a community investing in its own future.
As we look ahead, Community Heart continues with a renewed focus. Funds raised through upcoming events, partnerships and donations will now support the growth and expansion of dialysis services at Yarrawonga Health, helping more people access life-changing treatment closer to home. This next chapter will strengthen local care, reduce travel burdens for patients and families, and support the evolving health needs of our growing cross-border community.
